COMPANY HISTORY, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Frame & Smetana, P.A. (formerly LePard & Frame, P.A.) is a Civil Engineering consulting firm located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho that has been in practice since 1969. The firm has a long history of working both in the public and private sector, specializing primarily in commercial, industrial and residential land-use planning and development. During this time, the firm has enjoyed a very successful professional relationship with governmental and regulatory agencies as well as with local design professionals and area contractors.
Frame & Smetana, PA provides professional engineering services utilizing current computer technology, stand-alone coordinate geometry software, and earthwork/topography software. Surveying services are provided using current technology as well as traditional measurement procedures and electronic instrumentation, including Leica and Sokkia total stations with TDS Survey Pro data collection. AutoCAD Release 2009-2018 with Civil 3-D add-on software is used for drafting needs.
Frame & Smetana, P.A. has enjoyed being a part of the development team for many projects in Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, Hayden and Kootenai County. As a result of working on a variety of projects within both the public and private sectors, the firm has established a “hands on” knowledge of the parameters that govern successful projects.
